The ventresca(belly) is the most valuable part of the bluefin tuna. The belly is obtained from the fatter part of the animal, the one that wraps the abdominal cavity: the muscle bundles are woven with fat that make the meat softer and tastier. A genuine, first choice product, certified for the ingredients used and processed according to ancient traditional techniques. It is highly appreciated on the tables of Sicilian cuisine. It is excellent paired with salads, topped with tomatoes and onions, enjoyed on its own for a quick snack.
