The organic lemons used for the production of this jam come from citrus groves of the Catania plain and the provinces of Trapani and Palermo. Sunny areas particularly suited to high quality citrus production.
Being grown in organic farming, even the zest of these lemons, particularly rich in essential oils, is ideal for enriching sweets, jams and liqueurs, giving them its pleasant aromas, typical of the great Sicilian gastronomic tradition.
Once harvested, between December and March, lemons are carefully processed with the addition of brown sugar, without dyes, nor preservatives, and transformed into Free Earth Organic Lemon Marmalade. Ideal for a delicious breakfast or a tasty snack.
